H.W. Kaufman Group Names Kaufman and Kaufman Davis to Newly Established Co-President Role
H.W. Kaufman Group, headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, named Danny Kaufman and Jodie Kaufman Davis as co-presidents. The newly created positions establish distinct leadership responsibilities across Kaufman’s broad global portfolio. Alan Jay Kaufman will continue serving as Kaufman’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

In addition to his current role as president of Burns & Wilcox in the U.S., Danny Kaufman is responsible for the Burns & Wilcox brokerage and Canadian divisions. The leadership for both divisions reports to him.
Jodie Kaufman Davis will become vice chair of Atain Insurance Companies while retaining oversight of RB Jones. She will continue to be responsible for Kaufman’s businesses outside North America.
Property & Casualty Executive Desett Joins Hub International as North American Commercial Lines President
Hub International Limited (HUB), headquartered in Chicago, named Tim DeSett as North American commercial lines president. DeSett is responsible for developing HUB’s Commercial Lines strategy and driving organic growth.
With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, DeSett most recently served as executive vice president, property & casualty, at NFP. Prior to that, DeSett was the head of North America field operations and distribution for AIG.
Chubb Appoints Benson as EVP to Lead North America Multinational Business Unit
Chubb, headquartered in Whitehouse, New Jersey, appointed Tim Benson as executive vice president, multinational insurance leader, effective October 30.
Benson and the multinational team will coordinate closely with Chubb’s Global Services group in the execution and delivery of North America multinational programs globally.
Benson, based in Philadelphia, succeeds Laura Vest, who is retiring from the company after 20 years.
Benson joined Chubb in 2005 and has over 20 years of insurance industry experience, most recently serving as executive vice president & chief revenue officer for Chubb’s middle market division. From 2011 through 2019, he led the middle market and small commercial underwriting team focused on U.S. multinationals’ international risks as well as Chubb’s global services organization.
