TV insurance claim help

We recently damaged our TV, started a claim for repair and have just found out that it can’t be repaired.

We have a “like for like” replacement policy.

Our TV was new last year and a very high spec 49″ which is perfect for our room. It has 3d, good hdr and is great for gaming. It was listed at 1400 and we paid 1000 on sale.

The replacement we’ve been offered is a very low spec 55″ or if we don’t want it 520 in cash. Obviously I don’t see this as even close to like for like so what’s my best way of going about this? We also have a 200 excess to pay which makes it even more ridiculous.
