Saskatchewan judge rejects $20M class action settlement with Oxycontin maker

But many patients became addicted, leading to a country-wide class action lawsuit against its maker, Purdue Pharma (Canada). 

‘ height=’259’ /> Justice Brian Barrington-Foote of Regina’s Court of Queen’s Bench released a decision stating that he was not satisfied the settlement was “fair, reasonable and in the best interests of the class as a whole.”
