Car Insurance Allstate never cancelled my other car. Now owe $1,020

I had a car accident today and was filing a claim through the site, asked me to register an account so i did once i did i noticed that i still had my last car insurance on, apparently my agent’s secretary never removed the car from our insurance, and now I owe 1,020 in partly i know it was my fault because i never checked my account i just put my payments in autopay so i don’t have to worry about missed payment and i just never really check my bank account everything from bills to credit cards are in autopay, my question is will i have that money that was being charged for the other car refunded in someway ? or will the money that i “owe” be erased from my insurance ?
