{"id":8545,"date":"2018-05-08T14:16:19","date_gmt":"2018-05-08T18:16:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lifeinsurance-orleans.ca\/Life-Insurance-Blog\/?guid=6f13982e1fe64e156b175563327479d8"},"modified":"2018-05-08T14:16:19","modified_gmt":"2018-05-08T18:16:19","slug":"nike-confirms-departure-of-4-more-executives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lifeinsurance-orleans.ca\/index.php\/2018\/05\/08\/nike-confirms-departure-of-4-more-executives\/","title":{"rendered":"Nike confirms departure of 4 more executives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK &#8212; Four more Nike executives have left the sportswear company amid its efforts to overhaul workplace culture.<\/p>\n<p>They are Helen Kim, vice-president of Nike East for North America; Simon Pestridge, global vice-president of marketing for performance categories; Steve Lesnard, the head of running in North America and Tommy Kain, Nike&#8217;s director of sports marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Nike spokesman Greg Rossiter confirmed the departures but declined to say why they were leaving<\/p>\n<p>The departures follow the exits of several other executives including a vice-president of diversity and inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>In March, Nike&#8217;s CEO Mark Parker reportedly sent a memo to employees regarding inappropriate workplace behaviour and plans to overhaul its leadership.<\/p>\n<p>That included the resignation of Trevor Edwards, seen as Parker&#8217;s successor, and the exit of another executive, Jayme Martin.<\/p>\n<p>Nike is the latest thrust into a movement that has spread after reports of sexual harassment allegations against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK &mdash; Four more Nike executives have left the sportswear company amid its efforts to overhaul workplace culture.
