If you are thinking about getting life insurance you should know that Manulife announced a major rates increase (of up to 50% on certain policies)<\/strong><\/em> for permanent level cost (universal)\u00a0life insurance effective Sept 23rd, just weeks from now.\u00a0 Other carriers will surely follow.<\/p>\n

Considering the tax law changes now under review by the government, permanent life insurance will even become more important as the most cost-effective way to pay higher taxes.<\/p>\n
