Aon CFO Reese Steps Down After 2 Years, Succeeded by Virana in Interim Role<\/strong><\/p>\n Insurance broker Aon plc<\/strong> announced that Edmund Reese<\/strong> is stepping down from his role as executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, to pursue opportunities outside the firm. He first joined Aon in<\/p>\n Aon appointed Nadin Virani<\/strong> as interim CFO, effective immediately, and Reese will serve as senior adviser to Aon President and CEO Greg Case<\/strong>, through August 16, 2027, to support the transition.<\/p>\n Reese joined Aon in June 2024, while Virani joined the company in January 2025.<\/p>\n Aon said Virani brings deep financial leadership expertise and a wealth of experience in the financial services industry to his new role, having previously served as the firm\u2019s global head of Corporate Planning and Analytics with oversight of financial planning and analysis, forecasting processes, cash management and budgeting.<\/p>\n Virani will report to CEO Case and lead Aon\u2019s Finance organization, while working closely with the Aon Executive Committee to ensure continuity and oversight of the firm\u2019s financial strategy. Aon has also engaged a leading executive search firm to conduct a comprehensive internal and external search for a permanent CFO.<\/p>\n Prior to joining Aon, Virani served as head of Corporate Planning and Analytics at Broadridge Financial (August 2022 to January 2025). Before that, he had been general manager for the Delta Amex Co-Brand portfolio at American Express, where for 18 years he held a number of CFO positions in London, Frankfurt and New York, supporting areas such as international and U.S. lending, loyalty, insurance and merchant pricing.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to recognize Edmund for his many contributions to our firm,\u201d said Case. \u201cThrough consistent execution of our 3\u00d73 Plan and a relentless and disciplined focus on performance, Edmund has helped to enhance our capabilities, accelerate growth and deliver meaningful value for our shareholders.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAs global head of Corporate Planning and Analytics and a member of our Aon Executive Committee, Nadin has played a central role in strengthening our financial performance and developing our strategy to drive sustainable growth across our firm,\u201d said Case. \u201cHis financial expertise and proven leadership will be invaluable as we continue to accelerate our Aon United strategy and create better outcomes for clients and shareholders.\u201d<\/p>\n Miller Bermuda Taps Gallagher\u2019s Vickers as Senior Director, Property<\/strong><\/p>\n Miller<\/strong>, the London-based independent specialist re\/insurance broker, announced the appointment of Harry Vickers<\/strong> as a senior director, Property, for Miller Bermuda.<\/p>\n Vickers joins from Gallagher and brings a wealth of experience across complex property risks, as well as a deep understanding of the direct and facultative market in Bermuda, Miller said.<\/p>\n In his new role, Vickers will lead Miller\u2019s Bermuda direct and fac offering, working closely with teams in London to broaden the solutions available to property clients internationally.
