<\/div>\nMGA Fusion Specialty Acquired by Asset Manager Arrow Global<\/strong><\/p>\n Arrow Global Group (Arrow),<\/strong> a UK-based investment manager specializing in private credit and real estate, announced its subsidiary Arrow Global Insurance (AGI)<\/strong> has acquired Fusion Specialty Group<\/strong>, a specialist managing general agent.<\/p>\n AGI acquired Fusion from POP Group Holdings, the Sydney, Australia-headquartered insurtech conglomerate, for an undisclosed amount.<\/p>\n AGI is a specialty insurance platform that underwrites insurance through its own MGAs while also focusing on acquisitions of MGA businesses. AGI was launched in March<\/a> by Arrow Global Group as a business vertical designed to capture institutional investment opportunities across the insurance value chain.<\/p>\n Supported by long-term institutional capital, AGI targets attractive underwriting performance in markets characterized by high barriers to entry, fragmented competition and technical complexity, Arrow explained.<\/p>\n The acquisition further enhances AGI\u2019s platform by adding another high-quality specialist MGA with a well-established underwriting track record, Arrow added.<\/p>\n Through AGI\u2019s reinsurer Halldora Re and the broader Arrow platform, Arrow\u2019s MGAs benefit from access to long-term underwriting capacity, institutional capital and scalable operating infrastructure, which enable them to grow responsibly while maintaining underwriting discipline. Rated \u201cA-\u201d (Excellent) by AM Best, Halldora Re is owned by funds managed by Arrow Global Group.<\/p>\n Operating on behalf of leading London market, European and other specialty insurers, Sydney-based Fusion \u201chas established a highly regarded underwriting franchise serving policyholders across the UK, Europe, North America and other international markets,\u201d Arrow said.<\/p>\n Since its launch in 2018, Fusion has processed more than 23,000 submissions and written approximately \u00a3290 million (US$389 million) of gross written premium for approximately 1,500 policyholders, with premium volume more than doubling over the past two years.<\/p>\n \u201cArrow Global Insurance is an established specialty insurance platform that combines exceptional underwriting businesses with institutional capital,\u201d commented Zach Lewy, chief executive officer and chief investment officer of Arrow Global Group, in a statement. Beck Insurance Services Inc. (WMB)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.<\/p>\n WMB provides retail insurance brokerage services to commercial clients primarily in Western Canada, specializing in construction, commercial real estate, surety bonding, hospitality and mining.<\/p>\n The WMB team, led by David Beck, will remain in their current locations under the direction of Dave Partington, head of Gallagher\u2019s retail property\/casualty brokerage operations in Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n \u201cWMB\u2019s excellent reputation for niche industry expertise will enhance our retail brokerage capabilities in Canada,\u201d said J.
