Ltd.<\/strong>, the Hong Kong-based reinsurer that specializes in emerging markets, announced that <strong>Victor Kuk<\/strong> will become chief executive officer, effective April 20, 2026, subject to regulatory approval.<\/p>\n<p>Kuk is succeeding <strong>Franz-Josef Hahn<\/strong>, co-founder and CEO of Peak Re, who will transition from his current role and assume the position of special adviser, continuing to provide strategic oversight until October 9, 2026.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bzn bzn-sized bzn-intext\">\n<ins data-revive-zoneid=\"79\" data-revive-block=\"1\" data-revive-id=\"36eb7c2bd3daa932a43cc2a8ffbed3a9\"><\/ins> <\/div>\n<p>Kuk is a seasoned insurance executive with over two decades of leadership experience across Asia. He joins Peak Re from Swiss Re, where he served as CEO of Swiss Re Asia Pte.
