Temple has finalized the rate changes, the Louisiana Department of Insurance said.<\/p>\n<p>Imperial Fire &amp; Casualty <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\" data-markjs=\"true\">Insurance<\/span> Company filed a 6% decrease on its Value Product, which has over 41,000 <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\" data-markjs=\"true\">Louisiana<\/span> policies and typically covers higher\u2011risk consumers by providing <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\" data-markjs=\"true\">insurance<\/span> options that meet state\u2011required minimum liability limits.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bzn bzn-sized bzn-intext\">\n<ins data-revive-zoneid=\"79\" data-revive-topics=\"auto,carriers,personal-auto,pricing-trends,trends\" data-revive-companies=\"allstate\" data-revive-block=\"1\" data-revive-id=\"36eb7c2bd3daa932a43cc2a8ffbed3a9\"><\/ins> <\/div>\n<p>IFAC also filed for a 2.9% decrease on its Mid-Market Product, which has over 32,000 PPA policies in effect and typically covers consumers who need liability limits above the state minimum<\/p>\n<p>Allstate North American <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\" data-markjs=\"true\">Insurance<\/span> Company\u2019s rate change was for a 7.5% decrease affecting the company\u2019s over 17,000 policies in <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\" data-markjs=\"true\">Louisiana<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Temple previously finalized ANAIC\u2019s request for a 7.6% decrease in late 2025, bringing the company\u2019s total rate change to an over 15% decrease since November <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\" data-markjs=\"true\">of<\/span> last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is another positive development for <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\" data-markjs=\"true\">Louisiana<\/span> drivers, but our work is far from over,\u201d said Temple in a statement. \u201cWe must continue strengthening our regulatory and legal framework so more drivers can experience the benefits <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\" data-markjs=\"true\">of<\/span> our reform efforts, and I encourage all <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\" data-markjs=\"true\">Louisiana<\/span> drivers to shop around now for a more affordable auto policy if you haven\u2019t done so in recent months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Source: Louisiana Department of Insurance<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"tagtag\"> <span class=\"tagtag\">Topics<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insurancejournal.com\/trends\/\" class=\"btn btn-sm btn-primary tagtag\">Trends<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insurancejournal.com\/carriers\/\" class=\"btn btn-sm btn-primary tagtag\">Carriers<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insurancejournal.com\/auto\/\" class=\"btn btn-sm btn-primary tagtag\">Auto<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insurancejournal.com\/location\/louisiana\/\" class=\"btn btn-sm btn-primary tagtag\">Louisiana<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insurancejournal.com\/personal-auto\/\" class=\"btn btn-sm btn-primary tagtag\">Personal Auto<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insurancejournal.com\/pricing-trends\/\" class=\"btn btn-sm btn-primary tagtag\">Pricing Trends<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"article-poll\" data-post=\"861883\">\n<div class=\"article-poll-vote\">\n<p>Was this article valuable?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"article-poll-feedback voted-no\">\n<form class=\"feedback-form\">\n<p>Thank you!
