<\/p>\nThe Fidelis Partnership (TFP), the Bermuda-headquartered managing general underwriter, announced it has transferred its primary European entity from Brussels to Dublin, effective December 1, 2025.<\/p>\n
The move establishes Dublin as the hub through which TFP will access the EU market, further supporting its European growth objectives as well as reflecting its increasing investment in Ireland, the company explained.<\/p>\n
Over the past 12 months, TFP has grown its Dublin headcount to over 80 \u2013 with recent hires including underwriter Paul Hendrix, who joined in October, and Michelle Raine, who joined in November as a senior D&F underwriter.<\/p>\n
TFP said this expansion reflects the scale of the business it\u2019s building in Dublin, with the firm expecting to write approximately $800 million in premium in 2025.<\/p>\n
TFP is championing emerging local talent through its annual scholarship program with the University of Limerick and its internship program with Queen\u2019s University Belfast.<\/p>\n
Through these investments in local talent and insurance expertise, TFP has recognized Dublin as a key operational and strategic location for the business and is a key hub for the group\u2019s technology, data analytics and actuarial teams.<\/p>\n
Drawing on the support of Minister Robert Troy at Ireland\u2019s Department of Finance, TFP is also spearheading a working group of specialty insurance CEOs with the objective of positioning Dublin as a European hub for specialty insurance.<\/p>\n
In June, TFP and IDA Ireland co-hosted a panel event with participation from Irish Minister for Public Expenditure, Jack Chambers, to showcase Ireland as a home for innovation in the insurance industry and as an attractive investment destination.<\/p>\n
