The deal will expand DB Insurance\u2019s foothold in the US property and casualty market as well as the surety and warranty sectors.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bzn bzn-sized bzn-intext\">\n<ins data-revive-zoneid=\"79\" data-revive-topics=\"carriers,mergers\" data-revive-companies=\"db,fortegra\" data-revive-block=\"1\" data-revive-id=\"36eb7c2bd3daa932a43cc2a8ffbed3a9\"><\/ins> <\/div>\n<p>Fortegra, which is a unit of Tiptree Inc., scrapped its planned initial public offering last year, citing market conditions.
