A high of 103 degrees is forecast for Sacramento, which would tie the record set in 1910.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insurancejournal.com\/news\/west\/2025\/05\/27\/825010.htm\">Urban Fires Spark California Firefighter\u2019s Idea to Get Quicker Water for Helicopters<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The weather service is forecasting a high of 107 degrees in Las Vegas, Nevada, Friday, which would break the record of 106 degrees set in 2002. A high of 96 degrees in Salt Lake City, Utah, Sunday, would break the record of 94 degrees set in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Highs could exceed 110 degrees or higher in some areas at times.
