Gallagher &amp; Co. has announced the acquisition of <span class=\"xn-location\">Waterloo, Ontario<\/span>-based Encore Insurance Services Inc., d\/b\/a Encore Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>Encore Group is a retail insurance brokerage firm serving commercial clients primarily in <span class=\"xn-location\">Ontario<\/span> with industry focuses of manufacturing, construction and financial institutions. <span class=\"xn-person\">Joe Dalton<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-person\">Scott Heaman<\/span> and their team will remain in their current location under the direction of <span class=\"xn-person\">Dave Partington<\/span>, head of Gallagher\u2019s Canadian retail property\/casualty brokerage operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEncore Group is a highly regarded firm whose expertise complements our existing retail brokerage capabilities in <span class=\"xn-location\">Canada<\/span>,\u201d said J. <span class=\"xn-person\">Patrick Gallagher, Jr.<\/span>, Chairman and CEO. \u201cI am excited to welcome Joe, Scott and their associates to our growing, global team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"xn-person\">Arthur J.
