The insurer now serves drivers in 35 states, extending its auto insurance offering to over 4 million registered drivers in Minnesota and covering more than three-quarters of the U.S. population.<\/p>\n<p>Root is coming off the first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insurancejournal.com\/news\/national\/2024\/10\/31\/799261.htm\">quarterly net income<\/a> in the insurtech\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bzn bzn-sized bzn-intext\">\n<ins data-revive-zoneid=\"79\" data-revive-block=\"1\" data-revive-id=\"36eb7c2bd3daa932a43cc2a8ffbed3a9\"><\/ins> <\/div>\n<p>Root turned in a combined ratio of 91.1 in the third quarter. The company recorded third quarter net income of approximately $23 million.
