{"id":22900,"date":"2024-12-11T16:52:41","date_gmt":"2024-12-11T16:52:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.insurance-canada.ca\/?p=82225"},"modified":"2024-12-11T16:52:41","modified_gmt":"2024-12-11T16:52:41","slug":"csio-announces-six-new-compliance-certified-insurers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lifeinsurance-orleans.ca\/index.php\/2024\/12\/11\/csio-announces-six-new-compliance-certified-insurers\/","title":{"rendered":"CSIO Announces Six New Compliance-Certified Insurers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Toronto, ON (Dec. 10, 2024) \u2013 CSIO is pleased to extend its congratulations with the announcement that the following six insurers have achieved CSIO\u2019s Compliance Certification:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carleton-Fundy Mutual Insurance Company<\/li>\n<li>The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group<\/li>\n<li>Estrie-Richelieu Group Insurance Company<\/li>\n<li>Max Insurance<\/li>\n<li>My Mutual Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Stratford Underwriting Agency Inc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To achieve Certification, the insurers have eliminated all Z-Codes (non-standard coverage codes) from their data exchange with brokers, and now only use CSIO Standard codes. By eliminating Z-Codes, brokers benefit from accurate reporting, improved operational efficiency, targeted marketing, and an enhanced customer experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCompliance Certification is a key part of our industry initiative to establish clear, consistent, relevant Data Standards that save brokers valuable time,\u201d said Catherine Smola, President &amp; CEO of CSIO. \u201cCertified insurers demonstrate a commitment to compliance best practices, providing brokers with streamlined workflows and a higher level of data quality in their BMS.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CSIO supports insurers in eliminating Z-Codes by mapping them to CSIO Standard codes. Insurers can also request the addition of new coverage codes to the Standards through our agile Maintenance Request (MR) process.
