The new product \u2018Vehicle Interruption Cover\u2019 will help Uber drivers protect their income if they are unable to work because their car is off the road.<\/p>\n<p>Vehicle Interruption Cover (VIC) will be available to all Uber drivers operating in the UK and enrolled in the Uber Pro programme. Access to the cover is via a subscription to the Uber driver app and is supported by an end-to-end digital user experience powered by Indeez\u2019s technology platform.<\/p>\n<p>Vehicle Interruption Cover is the latest addition to the \u2019Partners Protection Programme\u2019 available to the Uber driver community through Allianz Partners and Uber. This financial protection is offered alongside benefits such as workplace accident &amp; injury cover, sick pay cover and maternity \/ paternity benefits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVehicle Interruption Cover is an extremely important add-on to the product offering we have jointly developed with Uber, one of our top strategic partners in the mobility ecosystem, to enable them to provide protection for their community of drivers.
