Fires this year have damaged or destroyed 1,687 structures.<\/p>\n<p>However, among those numbers have been some large and dangerous blazes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bzn bzn-sized bzn-intext-2\">\n<ins data-revive-zoneid=\"162\" data-revive-topics=\"catastrophe,natural-disasters,wildfire\" data-revive-companies data-revive-block=\"1\" data-revive-id=\"36eb7c2bd3daa932a43cc2a8ffbed3a9\"><\/ins> <\/div>\n<p><strong>Related:<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.insurancejournal.com\/news\/national\/2024\/08\/15\/788367.htm\"><strong> 2.6M Homes with a Cost of $1.3 Trillion at Moderate to Very High Risk of Wildfire<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Park Fire in July became the became the fourth largest in state history by burning 429,603 acres. It is mostly doused, with 99% containment.<\/p>\n<p>The fire destroyed 709 properties and damaged 74.<\/p>\n<p>The Bridge Fire, which covers Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties, is the next biggest active but mostly contained wildfire in the state. It burned 54,878 acres and is 79% contained. The Line Fire in San Bernardino County burned 39,232 acres and is 75% contained. The Airport Fire, also in Southern California, burned 23,526 acres and is 88% contained.
