He will report to <strong>Xavier Veyry<\/strong>, chief executive officer, APAC &amp; Europe, and <strong>Manuel Meier<\/strong>, global chief client officer.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_774755\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-774755\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-774755\" src=\"https:\/\/www.insurancejournal.com\/app\/uploads\/2024\/05\/riha-robert-150x150.jpg\" alt width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-774755\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Robert Riha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Riha started his career in insurance in 2006, working in-house at RSA for Parabis Law and later qualifying as a solicitor, specialising in insurance litigation with Kennedys. He joined AXA XL in 2012 as a senior claims adjuster in London. He later relocated to Singapore where he went on to lead AXA XL\u2019s claims teams for Southeast Asia before being promoted to head of Claims, Asia in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Riha will relocate from Singapore to Dublin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have ambitious growth plans for APAC &amp; Europe focused primarily on multinational and mid-market solutions. We can only achieve those plans by expanding our partnership with clients and deepening our relationships with our broker partners,\u201d commented Veyry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRobbie will play an integral part in this approach by driving our broker engagement strategy and, where it makes sense, identifying new distribution opportunities,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to leading our broker strategy, Robbie will build on our existing relationships with clients in Europe, Asia and Australia to develop a deeper understanding of their evolving needs.
