\u2019Twas the day before Christmas, yes, winter is here.<\/span><\/p>\n

The days have grown shorter and year-end is near.<\/span><\/p>\n

My staff is now gone, they deserve time away<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m here all alone, till the end of the day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why am I here, working late, you might ask,<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead of a bar, as they tap a fresh cask? <\/span><\/p>\n

Most clients are planners, for I\u2019ve trained them well,<\/span><\/p>\n

But there\u2019s always one, with stocks they must sell.<\/span><\/p>\n

From out on the walkway, a ring of my bell,<\/span><\/p>\n

I feared in my bones, this would not end up well.<\/span><\/p>\n

This client was grinchy. Of fees he would rant,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou hereby are fired!\u201d he said with a pant.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI had a good year, my problems were few,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cInvesting is easy, and I don\u2019t need you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Advisors\u2019 dilemma: When things go too well,<\/span><\/p>\n

Some think we add nothing, no product to sell.<\/span><\/p>\n

This guy is a grinch, making Christmas Eve tough,<\/span><\/p>\n

Our bond can be saved, but today will be rough.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a good year, but you haven\u2019t a clue,<\/span><\/p>\n

Of so many things I am doing for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

Come sit for a moment, and I\u2019ll have my say,<\/span><\/p>\n

Then you can decide, if you\u2019ll walk away.<\/span><\/p>\n

But I\u2019m telling you now, I watch CNBC.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

You made money in stocks, your return it was grand,<\/span><\/p>\n

But that only happened when I held your hand.<\/span><\/p>\n

You wanted to sell, when September came calling,<\/span><\/p>\n

I said if you bail, you might find yourself bawling. <\/span><\/p>\n
