Schmit<\/strong>, American Family Insurance Distinguished Chair of Risk Management in the Wisconsin School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Madison.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Scott J. Shackelford<\/strong>, Provost Professor of Business Law and Ethics, Indiana University; Executive Director, Ostrom Workshop, Executive Director, Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cFor nearly five years, the Triple-I has worked to create a collaborative, unified partnership between academia and the insurance industry, providing opportunities and benefits for both through our non-resident scholars program,\u201d said Sean Kevelighan, CEO, Triple-I. \u201cWe welcome the subject matter expertise and industry knowledge these four individuals bring to our organization. Their skills and experience will bring added value to the Triple-I\u2019s member companies as we strengthen the Insurance Information Institute\u2019s ability to focus on the core issues affecting insurers and policyholders.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"bzn bzn-sized bzn-intext\">\n<ins data-revive-zoneid=\"79\" data-revive-topics=\"inland-marine,new-markets\" data-revive-companies=\"berkley\" data-revive-block=\"1\" data-revive-id=\"36eb7c2bd3daa932a43cc2a8ffbed3a9\"><\/ins> <\/div>\n<p><strong>Tate Appointed to New Role With Aspen Inland Marine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited<\/strong>, headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, appointed <strong>Michael Tate<\/strong> to the newly created role of inland marine \u2013 head of product &amp; underwriting.<\/p>\n<p>Tate will be based in Chicago, Ill. Before Aspen, Tate served as chief underwriting officer at Berkley Fire &amp; Marine since 2021. Before that, he was with The Hartford Insurance Co. beginning in 2005, most recently serving as head of marine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schuermann Named President of Berkley Entertainment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>W. R. Berkley Corporation<\/strong>, headquartered in Greenwich, Conn., appointed <strong>Mark Schuermann<\/strong> as president of Berkley Entertainment, a Berkley company. He succeeds <strong>Cindy Broschart<\/strong>, who has been named chair of the business.<\/p>\n<p>Schuermann joined Berkley Entertainment as chief operating officer in 2021.
