Toronto, ON (Dec. 4, 2023) \u2013 On Side Restoration Ltd. is excited to announce the acquisition of Superior Disaster Services Ltd. that closed December 1, 2023. Welcoming Superior Disaster to the team as the 17th and 18th branches in Ontario, the Company will strengthen its capacity along the 401 and will extend its service offering across the province.<\/p>\n
Superior Disaster was founded as \u201cSuperior Cleaners\u201d in 1959 by Leonard and Wanda Martin. When Leonard retired in 1981, Andrew Martin, and Robert Webb purchased the company and renamed and expanded it to become Superior Disaster. With more than 60 years\u2019 experience between them, Andrew and Bob have focused on the development of their company since 1981. In addition to the 24\/7 emergency response services, Superior Disaster utilizes the expertise of two specialized divisions operating under the same umbrella \u2013 Superior Cleaners and Superior Restoration and Contracting \u2013 to offer a full range of services for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional customers.<\/p>\n
Part of their uniqueness is their reputation for handling specialty and large losses, and On Side Restoration is very pleased to welcome their team to the company and to continue to innovate for customers within the Ontario market. With the transaction, On Side welcomes 12 employees from Superior Disaster Services. Andrew Martin, prior owner of Superior Disaster, and whose father and mother founded the business, looks forward to joining On Side Restoration as a Project Manager. His vast industry experience and unique skillset with specialty losses are undoubtedly an asset to the Company. He has a reputation for taking on work that others in the industry won\u2019t. Bob Webb, prior co-owner since 1981, will temporarily join On Side Restoration as a consultant to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for both the employees and customers of Superior Disaster. When ready, Bob looks forward to retirement in the coming year.<\/p>\n
Through the acquisition, On Side Restoration will operate out of both Superior Disaster warehouses located in Cobourg and Peterborough. These facilities have resided in the same service area for the length of time they\u2019ve been in operation and have been a vital piece of the community and industry. The Cobourg branch is located at 578 Victoria Street, and the Peterborough location is at 666 The Parkway.<\/p>\n
