Before joining&nbsp;BNY&nbsp;Mellon, Vella spent 20 years at Northern Trust Asset Management, including as CIO of Multi-Manager Solutions, overseeing investment strategy, manager selection and portfolio construction.<\/p>\n<p>BNY&nbsp;Mellon Wealth Management had&nbsp;$286 billion&nbsp;in total client assets as of&nbsp;June 30, it said.
