help advisors and institutions turn a blue ocean opportunity into reality,\u201d President &amp; CEO Dan Arnold said in a statement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cFor us, that means empowering advisors and institutions to deliver great advice to their clients and to be great operators of their businesses,\u201d Arnold explained in remarks shared with the press early Saturday before the <a href=\"https:\/\/content.travelhq.com\/cp\/2023\/lpl\/focus_2023_pdfs\/Focus-2023-Agenda.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Focus 2023<\/a> event\u2019s general session.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In terms of technology, the broker-dealer highlighted its growing interest in the role of AI&nbsp;<\/span><span>\u2014 as it did during its<a href=\"https:\/\/investor.lpl.com\/static-files\/c6e9ae07-5fc1-4c2f-aa27-04140d0d19dd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> July 27 earnings call<\/a>. <\/span><span>\u201c<\/span><span>When it comes to AI, we don\u2019t believe there\u2019s any replacing the advisor-client <\/span><span>relationship<\/span><span>,\u201d Chief Technology Advisor Greg Gates said in statement Saturday.&nbsp;<\/span><span>\u201cWe see AI as an additional opportunity for advisors to enhance the way they engage with clients and run their business.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In the second quarter, the firm introduced <\/span><span>a new performance tool, Practice Hub, which relies on AI and aims to serve as a \u201cco-pilot\u201d for advisors, its executives said last week. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Practice Hub, a centralized dashboard in the firm\u2019s ClientWorks portal, gives advisors information about their key practice metrics, so they can \u201cset goals, benchmark their success against their peers and receive help to run their business more&nbsp;<\/span><span>efficiently,\u201d according to the firm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As for more AI-powered technology, <\/span><span>the firm recently introduced Advertising<\/span><span> Review Tool, which <\/span><span>helps speed up the approval rate for advisors\u2019 marketing content.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the start of its yearly conference, LPL Financial executives are emphasizing the growing role of artificial intelligence and their optimistic outlook for the advice business.&nbsp;
