{"id":20484,"date":"2023-07-21T21:20:52","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T21:20:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thinkadvisor.com\/2023\/07\/21\/investors-are-bullish-but-inflation-remains-a-top-concern-morgan-stanley-survey\/"},"modified":"2023-07-21T21:20:52","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T21:20:52","slug":"investors-are-bullish-but-inflation-remains-a-top-concern-morgan-stanley-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lifeinsurance-orleans.ca\/index.php\/2023\/07\/21\/investors-are-bullish-but-inflation-remains-a-top-concern-morgan-stanley-survey\/","title":{"rendered":"Investors Are Bullish, but Inflation Remains a Top Concern: Morgan Stanley Survey"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"media_block\"><a href=\"https:\/\/feeds.feedblitz.com\/-\/757058408\/0\/thinkadvisor\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.thinkadvisor.com\/contrib\/content\/uploads\/sites\/415\/2023\/02\/03_Up_Down_Arrows_Adobe_640x640.jpg\" class=\"media_thumbnail\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.thinkadvisor.com\/contrib\/content\/uploads\/sites\/415\/2023\/02\/03_Up_Down_Arrows_Adobe_640x640.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"first-para\">Fifty-four percent of U.S. investors surveyed in the third quarter believe that inflation will reach normal levels by the end of 2023, up from 50% in the second quarter, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.morganstanley.com\/what-we-do\/wealth-management\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Morgan Stanley Wealth Management<\/a> reported this week.<\/p>\n<p>The firm\u2019s quarterly investor pulse survey found that the same percentage of respondents expect the Federal Reserve Board to navigate a soft landing, up from 47%, and 48% consider the economy healthy enough for the Fed to enact additional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thinkadvisor.com\/2023\/07\/10\/fed-officials-say-higher-rates-needed-to-reach-2-inflation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rate hikes<\/a> this quarter, up from 45%.<\/p>\n<p>More than half of respondents are bullish about the third quarter, with 58% believing the market will end in the green, 10 percentage points higher than last quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Still, 52% of investors surveyed said high inflation is their chief concern regarding their portfolio, followed by 31% who said they worried about a recession and 26% about volatility.
