The survey found 44 per cent of staff&nbsp;said they\u2019d consider relocating, but only 16 per cent would be willing to move if it involved taking a pay cut. Meanwhile, almost 70 per cent of companies surveyed said they\u2019ll base salaries on the company\u2019s office location for the time being, while nine per cent say they haven\u2019t decided on their approach.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benefitscanada.com\/news\/u-s-employers-with-flex-work-rethinking-approach-to-total-rewards-pay-report-154215\">U.S. employers with flex work rethinking approach to total rewards, pay: report<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;survey results come months after many Canadian companies required staff to work from home in hopes of stopping the spread of&nbsp;the coronavirus&nbsp;in pandemic hotspots. Indeed, as the pandemic continues to rage, companies,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benefitscanada.com\/news\/linkedin-microsoft-embracing-flex-work-policy-in-preparation-for-post-pandemic-life-152095\">such as LinkedIn Corp. and its parent company, Microsoft Corp.<\/a>,&nbsp;have introduced new&nbsp;flexible working policies in preparation for the future of work post-pandemic.
