It marks the second investment the organizations made together this year, having put&nbsp;\u00a380 million towards the construction of an 18-storey building <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benefitscanada.com\/news\/cppib-strengthens-partnership-in-u-k-s-build-to-rent-sector-142936\">in February<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benefitscanada.com\/news\/cppib-strengthens-partnership-in-u-k-s-build-to-rent-sector-142936\">CPPIB strengthens partnership in U.K.\u2019s build-to-rent sector<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe build-to-rent sector in the U.K. continues to be supported by long-term trends, particularly in&nbsp;<span class=\"xn-location\">London<\/span>&nbsp;and other major U.K. cities,\u201d said&nbsp;<span class=\"xn-person\">Andrea Orlandi<\/span>, managing director and head of real estate for Europe&nbsp;at the CPPIB, in a press release. \u201cPrivate rentals are an increasingly attractive and flexible option for households. The Elephant Park project continues to move ahead towards completion for the first phase and our latest financial commitment will help to progress this landmark regeneration project.
