Meanwhile, Fanger spent more than 10 years in various roles at Pacific Life Insurance Co., most recently as the founder and chief executive officer of its now-closed subsidiary Swell Investing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In other personnel news, Slate Asset Management is promoting&nbsp;Katie Fasken to managing director of investment relations.
