The winners will be announced and recognized at a luncheon event at the Arcadian Court in Toronto on Friday, Oct. 16.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benefitscanada.com\/news\/who-are-the-winners-of-the-2019-workplace-benefits-awards-137252\">Who are the winners of the 2019 Workplace Benefits Awards?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With many Canadian employers struggling with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, <em>Benefits Canada<\/em> is introducing a new award for 2020 \u2014 Coronavirus and benefits. The&nbsp;award recognizes an organization that has developed an innovative and effective strategy for managing its benefits or pension plan during the pandemic and supporting its employees.<\/p>\n<p>The full list of categories&nbsp;for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benefitscanada.com\/microsite\/awards\/workplace-benefits-awards\/\">2020 Workplace Benefits Awards<\/a> are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Absence management<\/li>\n<li>Benefits plan communications<\/li>\n<li>Diversity program<\/li>\n<li>Drug\/benefits plan innovation<\/li>\n<li>Financial wellness program<\/li>\n<li>Health\/wellness program (&lt;1,000 employees)<\/li>\n<li>Health\/wellness program (1,000+ employees)<\/li>\n<li>Mental health<\/li>\n<li>Coronavirus and benefits<\/li>\n<li>Pension plan communications<\/li>\n<li>Pension performance<\/li>\n<li>Industry leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Read:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benefitscanada.com\/news\/award-winners-talk-employee-engagement-return-on-investment-138001\">Award winners talk employee engagement, return on investment<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s award winners included&nbsp;Goodyear Canada Inc., Niagara Casinos, Scotiabank and WSP Canada Inc. Add your company\u2019s name to this prestigious list.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations will be accepted until June 30, 2020.
