Advisors must commit to getting in front of a certain number of prospects every day. \u201cManage efforts and not results,\u201d he said. \u201cProspecting is a reaffirmation of what you do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said the COVID-19 crisis is a good opportunity to review with clients the way protection products such as life and long-term care insurance perform right now. \u201cMortality is on people\u2019s minds. It\u2019s a good opportunity to discuss life products with living benefits.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for LTCi, Jordan said, \u201cSometimes the best legacy you can leave your children is to not have them take care of you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jordan also told advisors not to give in to fear. \u201cIt\u2019s not bad to feel fear,\u201d he said. \u201cBut it\u2019s bad to do what fear tells us to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The financial services profession is not a place for those who are indifferent, Jordan said. \u201cYou need to work with love, which overcomes all the internal fear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span><em>Susan Rupe is managing editor for InsuranceNewsNet.
