Across his 40-year career, he was also a policy advisor with several Ontario government ministries, vice-president of pension administration at the Ontario Pension Board and a managing partner at Towers Perrin before it became Willis Towers Watson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne thing I\u2019ve learned over my career is that pension coverage and good governance matter,\u201d said Mills. \u201cWorkers who participate in well-governed plans that operate in their interests retire better and with less worry. Today, most workers don\u2019t get the opportunity to join a pension plan.
