Fiera Capital Corp. is appointing Michael Quigley as executive vice-president and head of institutional markets.<\/p>\n

In the new role, Quigley will lead the team, focusing on improving and guiding the implementation of Fiera\u2019s institutional distribution strategy.<\/p>\n

\u201cMichael brings a deep understanding of the institutional business environment and extensive knowledge of both traditional and alternative asset classes, and we are thrilled he has joined Fiera Capital to lead the evolution of the institutional markets team,\u201d said Jean-Philippe Lemay<\/span>, president and chief operating officer for the Canadian division of Fiera Capital, in a press release. \u201cHe is a proven institutional leader who has achieved great success with asset management firms of varying sizes in both Canada<\/span> and the United States<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to the new role, Quigley led the institutional business development team across Canada<\/span> at Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management Ltd. He was also the vice-chairman and senior vice-president of distribution for Natcan Investment Management Inc.<\/p>\n

In other news,  SEI Investments Canada Co. is appointing John Csaszar<\/span> as Canadian equity portfolio manager and analyst in its investment management unit and Dexton Blackstock<\/span> as managing director and head of Canadian business development for its institutional group.<\/p>\n

Csaszar, who was previously a manager research analyst for SEI\u2019s funds, will manage the firm\u2019s Canadian equity funds while retaining his current duties. Prior to joining SEI, he worked at CIBC Asset Management, where he researched and evaluated Canadian and global investment managers for a range of asset classes.<\/p>\n

Blackstock will lead business development in Canada<\/span>, selling SEI\u2019s outsourced chief investment officer solution to institutional investors. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, he joins SEI from BMO Global Asset Management, where he most recently served as director of institutional sales and service. <\/p>\n
