{"id":15692,"date":"2019-06-16T00:57:29","date_gmt":"2019-06-16T04:57:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/insurance-journal.ca\/article\/regulators-release-new-business-plan\/"},"modified":"2019-06-16T00:57:29","modified_gmt":"2019-06-16T04:57:29","slug":"regulators-release-new-business-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lifeinsurance-orleans.ca\/index.php\/2019\/06\/16\/regulators-release-new-business-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Regulators release new business plan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/insurance-journal.ca\/media\/photologue\/photos\/photo_web_3639.png\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p>The <strong>Canadian Securities Administrators<\/strong> (CSA) released on June 14 two publications: the <em>CSA Business Plan 2016-2019 Achievement Highlights<\/em> and the <em>CSA Business Plan 2019-2022<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>CSA Business Plan 2019-2022<\/em> sets out the priorities of its members over the course of the next three-year period. In it, the CSA members have highlighted forty initiatives \u201cthat continue to address industry participants\u2019 needs and promote market integrity and investor confidence in Canada\u2019s capital markets,\u201d stated the organization.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the new business plan includes projects such as the elimination of undue regulatory burden and the streamlining of regulatory requirements without reducing investor protection or impeding the efficient functioning of capital markets.
